Wet Separation

Definition: The wet separation is the separation method to the materials by the medium of water,
The raw material:Tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum, niobium, cobalt, nickel, rare earth, uranium, thorium, bismuth, tin, copper, lead, zinc, titanium,
manganese, vanadium, gold, silver, platinum, palladium, indium, ruthenium, osmium, iridium, germanium, gallium
Medium: materials of liquor, solid-liquid mixture, gas-liquid mixture, etc.
Process:The wet separation is the process of the metal mineral materials in acidic or alkaline aqueous solution carrying through chemical treatment or organic solvent extraction, separation of impurities, extract metals and their compounds.
Advantages: It has less pollution of dust, low temperature, and is good to the health of worker.
Dangers: the wet separation may produce large amounts of waste water and waste liquid, if not be addressed, it will cause serious water pollution

Comparison to The Dry Separation:

Dry separation generally uses solid powder of solid, mixture of gas and solid, liquid vapor as the raw materials for reaction. In the production process, if Cell is leaking, it will cause a lot of dust pollution. Otherwise, generally dry high temperature and pressure required, the device is relatively large. However, if the seal is good, the pollution will be very limited, especially waste water pollution will rarely happen.
